The Red Phoenix Theatre Company, created in 2010, has enjoyed producing both professional and youth theatre over the past few years.  Our professional productions include Ken Ludwig's Moon Over Buffalo and Sam Shepard's True West.  We have also created educational opportunities for pre-professional youth with our A.L.I.V.E. and JAMS programs, producing a number of Junior and School Edition shows from the MTI catalogue, as well as giving students the opportunity to perform in full Broadway editions of multiple productions.  The company is made up of three partners, Anna Bragg, Eric Bragg, and Stephanie McDonald.  In addition, the three have enlisted the help of many other professionals in the Atlanta area, and are thrilled with how many have been happy to become a part of the "Team Phoenix".
Anna Bragg has been acting, choreographing, and directing since she graduated from Baylor University in 2008. As an actress, director, and choreographer, she has worked on multiple productions such as Junie B. Jones, Aladdin Jr., Flat Stanley, CATS, Music Man, Side Show, All Shook Up, Little Shop of Horrors, and much more. She has worked with multiple Atlanta theaters such as OnStage Atlanta, Blackwell Playhouse, Cumming Playhouse and The Red Phoenix Theatre Company.
Anna also works with many schools and workshops that teach techniques on acting and dance and is currently the head Theatre Instructor at the Johns Creek Arts Center. Anna is also a dance instructor with the Atlanta Ballet and choreographs for the Georgia Insitute of Technology. She has taught theatre to children of all ages as well as adults in Atlanta and is dedicated to making the Performing Arts an enjoyable experience where everyone can learn to shine.
Eric Bragg has been an educator with Fulton County since 2003. In that time he founded the drama department at Creek View Elementary School. His efforts at Creek View were recognized with a Teacher of the Year nomination and NBC’s prestigious Class Act Award in 2006. Eric has been the award winning director of numerous films that were entered in the Georgia Movie Academy state film competition and was a National Finalist in Sony’s Technology in Motion film competition. In 2007, Eric transferred to River Trail Middle School to teach drama full time.
Since becoming a faculty member, he has directed numerous titles at River Trail and with Red Phoenix. Some of these credits include: Les Miserables, Into the Woods Jr., Flowers for Algernon, Sweeney Todd, Seussical Jr., Once on this Island Jr., and The Hobbit. He was also nominated for Teacher of the Year again in 2012. In January of 2013, Eric received the Freddie G Experience award from Music Theatre International for his work as a director with youth.
Since moving to Georgia, Eric has performed in both professional and community theatre. Some of these credits include: True West (Austin), Once On This Island (Julian), Wit (Jason), The Boys Next Door (Jack), Into the Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man, and Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble). Eric’s passion for theatre and his love of children have paired well in his professional pursuits. He is thankful to have had so many fantastic opportunities doing what he loves each day!
Throughout her life, but especially during and after graduation from Georgia State University, Stephanie has worked with many theatre companies in and around Atlanta in every capacity.  From performance to lighting and sound, and set design and costuming to stage managing and assistant directing, Stephanie enjoys every aspect of the theatre world. Some of her most recent professional credits include: The Piano Lesson (Director), Romeo and Juliet (Costuming), RENT (Electrics), Moon Over Buffalo (ADSM), True West (PSM).
Since 2008, Stephanie has made her primary focus helping young adults achieve their dreams in the theatrical arts. She has been blessed to work with River Trail Middle School's drama department, assistant directing and costuming Into the Woods, Jr, Flowers for Algernon, Flat Stanley, Jr,  Once on this Island, Jr, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.  As Co-Artistic Director of Red Phoenix, Stephanie has enjoyed assistant directing, and costuming Once on This Island, Seussical, Jr, Sweeney Todd: The School Edition,  Dear Edwina, Jr, Les Miserables, and The Little Mermaid, Jr, as well as co-directing Legally Blonde: The Musical with Anna Bragg.
